Dr Rieger did bilateral SPML surgery on me yesterday along with Dr. Nuzzo(been his patient for many years and did one SPML previously back in 2010). SPML is less scarring and less invasive than what most doctors who treat cerebral palsy want to do on patients. So far, recovery is going well. Feels like muscle is pulling in hamstrings and along the heel cord during recovery.

My son was treated by Dr. David Lin for a fracture, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the outstanding care we received. From the moment we arrived, the entire team at the Orthopedic Center in Morristown was incredibly warm, friendly, and professional, making both my son and our family feel comfortable. Dr. Lin was exceptional. He took the time to clearly explain my son’s injury, walked us through all the treatment options, and answered every question with patience and care. His clear explanations gave us confidence in making the best decision, and the treatment was provided quickly and efficiently. Met Dr. Rieger yesterday for the first time and my kids thought he was very friendly, funny and kind and he definitely was. He made the appointment very comfortable and explained everything very well. I didn’t feel rushed at all. Great experience!

Dr. Rieger has been the best. Our 7 year old broke her arm and he set it at Morristown and then we had a follow up with him in the office. She tells people “he’s a pretty good bone doctor.” Haha We were lucky he was on call that night she was in the hospital. He sung to her while they had to put her under sedation to set her arm and joked with her when the room was crowded with nurses and doctors so she’d feel more comfortable. When she woke up the first thing she asked was to see the x-ray and the nurses said Dr. Rieger showed her and told her how it all went. She can be pretty skeptical and at times Dr. Rieger hasn’t been her favorite person (for obvious reasons: having a broken arm is not very fun overall) but he’s funny and kind to her and most of all her arm is healing under his exceptional care!

I had that pleasure of meeting this orthopedic surgeon and his team . My daughter and I felt very comfortable . Dr Rieger was very pleasant and made my daughter smile. Although we were here for a serious condition, Dr. Rieger took the time to talk and explain his recommendations . He gives his professional opinion regardless of whether it’s good or bad . I for one respect his honesty . His communication was clear and tactful! I highly recommend his office.
