Dr. Joshua Strassberg is a board certified pediatric orthopedic surgeon specializing in pediatric sports and trauma injuries, as well as hip disorders. He is trained in the latest arthroscopic and minimally invasive surgical procedures including the latest surgical techniques for reconstructing the ACL in the growing child.
After receiving his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Strassberg earned his doctorate in medicine from New York Medical College, where he also completed his residency in orthopedic surgery. He furthered his training with a fellowship in pediatric orthopedics at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, followed by an additional fellowship in adolescent and young adult hip preservation surgery at Children’s Hospital Boston. He has been published in well-respected journals such as Clinical Orthopedic Related Research and authored a chapter in Operative Techniques in Orthopedic Surgery.
Dr. Strassberg has a special interest in pediatric and adolescent trauma, hip disorders, and sports injuries. He has been honored with “Patient’s Choice” and “Most Compassionate Doctor” awards and was recognized by his peers as a “Top Doctor in Morristown,” and as one of “America’s Top Orthopedists.” He has consistently been voted one of the “Top Doctor” by NJ Monthly Magazine, “Favorite Kids’ Doc” by NJ Family Magazine, “Top Doc” by Castle Connelly, “Top Orthopedist” by the Consumer Research Council, “Top Doctor” in Inside Jersey, and NJ Top Docs awards.”
